While it may have contributed to my premature gray hair, I have always thrived off the pressure of high-stakes situations, remaining calm under pressure while thinking quickly and rationally on my feet. This, coupled with my tendency to have a plan A-Z, has prepared me well for a career in public relations agency life. After all, it is always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared, especially when it comes to meeting the needs of clients.
Working mainly in crisis communications, I have supported clients across education, nonprofit, legal, and healthcare, providing strategic support through sensitive situations ranging from racial equity and justice to workplace misconduct. In our increasingly viral world, I’ve found that the best way to stay ahead of – or at least prepared for – a crisis is by proactively monitoring industry trends and news, allowing our clients to identify potential issues on the horizon.
As an alum of Syracuse University, my orange gear fits right in here at Castle (which is no small feat). When I am not coming up with endless “what if” scenarios, you can either find me at the beach to catch some rays or at the airport to catch a flight to a new adventure.
