Annie Perkins
I love to tell stories! This simple fact has driven my career for the past 25 years, allowing me to craft narratives that resonate with key audiences and drive action and meaningful results for clients, teams, and agencies.
I have seized opportunities that allowed me to highlight my passion for people, whether speaking on behalf of one of the world’s biggest brands or brainstorming with an intern on how to bring a story to life. As a purposeful leader with experience in strategic communications, public relations, brand management, and team development, I take my grit, emotional intelligence, and creative problem-solving to every challenge.
Before joining The Castle Group I was the Managing Director at an integrated agency. I led initiatives for high-profile consumer, healthcare, and technology clients, playing a pivotal role in expanding agency capabilities to include integrated marketing, crisis communications, and media training.
With deep expertise in crisis management, reputation protection, influencer marketing, and executive communications, I am passionate about guiding brands to safeguard their image while maximizing their growth potential. My work extends beyond traditional public relations, integrating performance marketing, social media strategy, and data-driven insights to deliver comprehensive communications programs that align with both short-term objectives and long-term goals.
I remain dedicated to mentoring and developing the next generation of communication professionals.
I grew up in Waltham, Massachusetts, and at Boston College, cemented by my passion for communications. Outside of work, I dedicate time to community service, having held leadership roles with local non-profits and volunteering for organizations such as Cor Unum, Andover Youth Services, and the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. And in case you were wondering what my hobbies are I will keep it simple. I am the mom of a beautiful, blended family, and my 9 (almost 10) grandchildren energize me every day.
