Amaya Morris
Passionate about storytelling, creativity, culture, and interpersonal relationships, I naturally pursued an education that combined my interests and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a double major in Journalism and Communications and a concentration in Public Relations.
During my time at UMASS, I gained invaluable real-world experience, serving as the Communications Officer and PR Specialist for the UMass Boxing Club and the Digital Marketing and Communication Assistant for the University’s Humanity and Fine Arts College. In these positions, I generated diverse digital, social, and written content across multiple platforms to increase visibility and foster community connections. Additionally, I led a team that created and pitched a six-month public relations campaign for a local non-profit focused on equitable food, land, and education programs, which was later selected and implemented by the organization.
After completing two internships at Castle, I am thrilled to join its dedicated team and am eager to continue assisting clients in making powerful impacts within their communities.
Outside work, I value my hobbies, including my love for travel, fitness, and holistic health. When not planning my next weekend getaway, you might find me at the gym, hiking, creating fun content, or spontaneously exploring a new hobby.
