As the primary Business Development resource at SHIFT Communications—the firm I co-founded and led to its successful acquisition by Avenir Global—I bring many contemporary perspectives and organizational efficiencies to Castle’s practice during a period of enviable growth and deliberate expansion of service offerings.

My 30-plus-year career in agency public relations, first at Sterling Hager, Inc.—the firm my partners and I acquired and rebuilt/rebranded as SHIFT Communications—included several groundbreaking business initiatives and recognized industry “firsts.” I bring that sort of innovative thinking to Castle’s service offerings and operations.

I’m a local guy, born and bred in Suburban Boston. I was educated at Boston University (both bachelor’s and master’s degrees) and had a three-year Navy “hitch” in San Diego. I’ve been a Commanding Officer, agency principal, and PR industry resource. But my most important role is and always will be as a husband, father, and, most recently, grandfather.

Having stepped back from full-time engagement in agency life, I now have time to leverage my experience on behalf of Castle and its clients, and I couldn’t be more delighted.
