Media and Presentation Training

It’s not enough to be an expert. You have to come across as one, too. We’ve created a media and presentation training program that we tailor to each client, and provide ongoing feedback to keep those skills honed. The true measure of success is the feedback our clients receive when they take their new skills into the field.

Media Training
We run through a variety of scenarios—from the print interview to the ambush interview to the live, call-in format—to ensure our clients feel confident in every media situation. We use the training to develop key messages, supporting points, statistics and sound bites. We work on mastering interview techniques, avoiding reporters’ traps, presenting appropriate body language and attire, and using breathing and vocal tone as tools.

Presentation Training
We turn a “critical eye” toward client presentations in an effort to measure delivery as well as content, and all feedback is supplemented by The Castle Group’s “Presentation Skills Guide.” Elements addressed in this program include: speaking venue and logistical matters; delivery and nonverbal communications; content; grooming issues; and other elements important to creating a successful presentation.
